this little quilt is what I finally figured out how I wanted to use the shibori that I made in Robbie's class at Beth's house in FLA. I fused it on the tie-dye background I also made at that time. As always, I don't know how it should be quilted (I hate the quilting part; I always figure I'll ruin it with the quilting after all my hard work making it). Any ideas?????? Help????????

Knowing when to say enough can be as important as knowing when another layer is necessary. I really feel this is DONE. I would like to see it matted and framed or made into a pillow. NO QUILTING needed IMHO!
ReplyDeleteKay, I wanted to follow your advice, especially since the quilting part of a quilt is my weakest link. I took the plunge (and the advice of Beth, Robbie and Nancy) and I put some quilting on it, sort of "going home stitches" since I don't know how to hand quilt. Remembering my guild president Terri's advice....hand quilting is just a running stitch, that's all, so that's what I did. Not too much quilting but some....I tried to get a picture of it but it didn't show up. That's probably a good thing. Thanks again for your advice everyone.
